Hi! I've some question about Mercury mail server v3.32:
1) I've noticed that it is possible to have multiple instances of the application running at the same time. What happens in general if i find two or three icons of the app in the sys tray?
Does it it lead to specific problems? I ask this because i have this problem with some customers of mine having difficult using the mouse! (Click the loader two much times!).
Is it possible to disable the possibility to run multiple instances?
2) What happen if i run the server as a services, and also run the graphical app, at the same time? Do i have two server acting at the same time? Like getting pop3 mails
concurrently?
3) I have strange problem with one customer. Sometimes mercury forward the pop3 mails it gets from external pop3 accounts, to the wrong local user, even if the correct local user is specified in the config. I've activated a global filter, to archive all the messages passing through the system and a general filter poiting to an alias, that copy all pop3 messages
from a single external pop3 account, to all local users. With this config, sometimes mercury only apply the global filter (the message is archived), but do not apply the general filter (dot not copy the message to all local user using the alias,when it gets mails from the specific pop3 account).
What should i check to solve this problem?
These are the only problems i've found, using this powerfull mail server!
