Variables in report preview

If I send a report directly to the printer, it works fine.

If I preview it first and then print from the preview toolbar, the variables are out of scope unless thay were made public.

It is not a problem to fix, but I would like to know if this is necessary, or I am doing something wrong?

I Would like to add that this behaviour occurs only during development.

A compiled exe seems to work fine.

I would like to understand this.

Just discovered it happens when the report is open in the designer.

My bad.
