Good day,
Does anyone know what this 'Variable Ring Time' And how one might set it?
I had a user tell me she was messing with her phone and the no answer ring time went from the system set 13 seconds to 6 seconds. Sure enough, her variable ring time was set to 6.
I could not find a way to set it back to 0 so I deleted her phone and rebuilt it.
Now I can think of a few uses for this and would like to know how to use it.

On older sys. versions, it was possible to define the ring time only system wide.

Starting HiPath 4000 V4 R4, the ring time in seconds can also be set via the service menu (not valid for Anate) at the device itself:
Service Menu > Destinations > Call Forwarding > FWD-VAR-RNA-BOTH > Ringing duration until forwarding
Enter the number of seconds and save your new settings.

Also via AMO :
ADD-ACTDA:TYPE=STN,STNO=1234,FEATCD=VARRING,RNGTIME=13;

Thank you adibv. This is something I could really use right now and so simple.
