Hi,
Re: Kyocera Mita FS-7000 printer
We recently had a problem with printouts that started coming out completely washed out for 70% of the page, okay on the bottom part, also some text was distorted along a line.
We called out an engineer (unable to help on phone) who thought that some moisture had got onto developer unit (due to office being cold over weekend). Took the printer completely to pieces (or so it seemed!!). Left working okay.
Same thing happened the following day. About to call engineer out again, when my colleague opened the front flap and closed it, cured the problem. It would appear the developer unit slightly came out of its proper position.
Happened again a few days ago, so I just moved the developer unit out of its position slightly and put it back. All working okay now.
Thought this story may be useful to others.
Regards,
Jay/UK
