Variable is undefined: 'contactEmail' WHY? having problems here 1

i have the following form header which keeps bringing up this error?

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01f4'

Variable is undefined: 'contactEmail'

the form head is

.Write "<form name=""rejct"" method=""post"" action=""subReject.asp?rjtsub="& iSubmissionID &"&emailadd=" & contactEmail & """>"

im writing html from an asp page thanks.

Probably going to need to see more code, but right off the top of my head, do you use the Option Explicit statement? If so, do you Dim contactEmail somewhere?

If you use Option Explicit and fail to Dim a variable, then you will get a 'Variable Is Undefined' error.
