Hello, I am having a few printing issues on Solaris 9, so I looked at the log file /var/lp/logs/lpsched, and the contents is as follows:

01/02 07:53:28: printer fault. type: mail sorchard, status: c
msg: (printer breaks the connection)
01/02 07:53:32: printer fault. type: mail sorchard, status: 14
msg: (exec exit fault)

I cannot find any documentation what the contents of this log file means, can anyone shed any light on this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Is your system patched to the latest level? I have read something about a similar problem fixed in Solaris 10, so perhaps it's also been retro-fixed with a patch in Solaris 9.

I want to be good, is that not enough?
