Ok, /var is 100% full on a R6 BCM450

I've got Putty access. What should I go about removing as all the other posts about this never say

Have you recently done a full backup?. If so, what was the file size. If it was a large file, then it could be that it's nearing capacity on the disk.
I've had a few cases where I had to delete some of the CDR data as every backup contains all the call data. You can reduce the size quite a bit by removing data as it's probably not needed for historical reasons.

This can easily be done via the command line interface such as "PuTTY" etc.

What evidence shows that it is full? an alarm? what alarm code?

When you first installed it did you just re-program or did you do level 1/cold reset to wipe out old programming?

CDR would indeed most likely be the culprit, delete them....I will email you.
