Vanity Number setup

Hello Everyone,
Looking for some info on setting up a vanity phone line. I need to point the vanity line/number (yadda.yadda.yadda)to one of our numbers. Can I point this to a phantom phone and have the DN of the phantom phone appear as extensions on two other phones. Basically will this work.

phantoms can only have single appearence DNs

no the number can not appear phantom and physical.. can you just put the number as scr or mcr on each phone.. if not i would use maxp 1 acd

then when i dial 1234 it rings xxxx, if it's a did then use ld 49, idc.. but that only works from an external caller

If you have DID I would have the Provider point it to a DID number and do as John said and make an acd NCFW to an MCR key on the phones you want to answer it.

i seldom have the number re-pointed by the provider.. i perfer to use either idc or acd so i can have control.. tomorrow someone may want a change on that number.. as usual there is 47 ways to do anything in the switch.. one is not the "best"..

Yes,
I will make them scr on both phones. It's the first time I am setting something like this up.
