Hello,

I'm using Accpac 5.5.
How would I go about to print the value of stock for a previous period?
In GL I can print the trial balance for the stock account up until any period I want.
Is there a report in I/C which can do the same. Usually I use the item valuation report but this report does not seem to be able to show me the value of stock for a previous month.

I have the problem of stock value in GL being higher than stock value in IC.

ok, item valuation report is the one to use. I MAde a mistake, thats why the figures didn't make sense.

Still my problem remains. GL is still higher than I/C.
No journal entries being made for that stock account.

There's been a big debate over the usefulness of the item valuation report that allows you to go back in time. It generally doesn't seem to work very well.

You could run a report off of the ICHIST table that would give you what you're looking for.

Hi,

You can use the inventory movement report (located in Stock control reports)to reconcile IC with GL.

Hi,

Thanks for your replies. I reckon it will come down to a manual reconcilliation of IC and GL. :(
