Hello Friends,
Can i retrieve value from histroy object. i.e. can i determine to which page control wll go if i invoke "javascript:history.back();".

Thanks

I would be most upset if a web site was able (using javascript) to find out the sites I had been browsing (leading up to when I hit the web site in question). This information could easily be sent to the web server and from there... to where-ever they wanted to send it to.

You cannot read the value of the contents of the history. You can use history.back, history.forward and history.go to redirect the user through their history... but that's all.
