#VALUE! Error

SO I am getting this in a few cells (which I am expecting to), the problem arises when I try to Sum the column. It will not do this b/c of the non-numerical text in the columns. Does anybody know of a workaround?

Let me make sure I understand you:

You have formulas in a column. Some of the formulas return "#VALUE!". When you try to sum the column containing the formulas, you also get "#VALUE!", but want to sum all non-error cells. Right?

If so, I'd change the formula in the formula column to avoid getting the "#VALUE!" error in the first place.

[tab][COLOR=blue white]=if(iserror(YourFormula),"",YourFormula)[/color]

That will clean up the appearance of the formula column and allow you to sum it.

Following up on the contribution from John, you could also try ...

=SUMIF(range,"<>#VALUE!")
