I have created several cubes which use Distinct count as a derived
measure. When I publish the cubes via Front Page I receive a #VALUE!
error whenever the user selects multiple members in a page item list.

If the user selects only one or all, it works fine. The error also
shows up on the grand totals of the distinct count fields.

Thanks in advance for any help on this one.

Thanks for the response. The #VALUE! text shows up in the cell. The following error appears when I mouse-over:

"An error occured during attempt to get a cell value.
Formula error - aggregations are not supported for the DISTINCT COUNT measure in the aggregation function"

I am looking for a way to force a visual total or cell sum.

Thanks,

-Mike

can you post your mdx and possibly the scenario you are trying to answer maybe a sample of expected output.

I am not using any explicit MDX. I have built a cube with a measure using the derived distinct count aggregation. I then publish the cube to a web server and access it with Front Page/Excel. However, the PTS web component can not handle distinct count aggregations on a totals calculation so it displays a #VALUE! error.

Example:

Bagels 10
Muffins 20
Bread 30
Total #VALUE!

Column1 is product, Column2 is a distinct count measure.
The total is a grand total (should be 60).
This also occurs when I select multiple members in a dimension on the slicer.

Thanks for any help.
