Value does not fall within the expected range when setting a parameter

I'm using CR for .NET 2003.

I have a notes field that I am displaying on a report using a parameter field (string). Apparently the notes cannot be longer than 254 characters. Is there a work-around or alternative solution?

This is a limit of Crystal 8.5: I assume this is what you've got.

You can put several fields into a text box, which can be any size.
