Morning

I may be barking up the wrong tree here, or maybe even in the wrong wood altogether but here's what I would like to do:

Have date Z in field b greater than date Y in field a.

I assumed that the valiudation rule for field b could contain the following:

">[TBL_ECO_Tracker]![Date_Submitted]"

But of-course, it's Access and it can't be that simple now can it...?

Anyone have any suggestions...?

It depends where you are whether you are allowed to do that (ie refer to fields). You may need a record validation rule rather than a field validation rule. Where are you putting this rule in?

It's OK mike.

I managed to get it going but had to use the form's option.

Would have preferred to do it at the record level but hey - who cares so long as it does what it says on the tin.
