Validation code for Scan32.exe does not match

My computer was infected with Funlove and w95/spaces. After down loading and updating Mcafee I get the following error when Mcafee tries to scan. "The validation code for`Scan32.exe does not match Please reinstall VirusScan." I've done a automatic uninstall and a manual uninstall by using the FAQ from this site. Reinstall the lastest Mcafee and still the same error.

Any thoughts

That's because probably FunLove is still active on your machine. Try rebooting with a clean, emergency disk and run a scan on the machine, then restart and reinstall VS.

There was still some code in the registry which was pointing to Scan32.exe in a different directory.
