Validate form Custom error messages 1

Is it possible to create custom error messages instead of -Todays_datetime is required. I would like it to state the field: Todays Date/time must contain data

Yes you can have custom alerts with form validation. Write your own javascript validation.

I know how to use the validate form in Dreamweaver, but I don't know where to enter my custom error messages. Can you elaborate on this a little more?

insert your form objects
-go to Behaviaros--Validate FOrm
look at the code generated

function MM_validateForm() { //v4.0
...
..
 if (p<1 || p==(val.length-1)) errors+='- '+nm+' must contain an e-mail address.\n';
...
...must contain a number between...

so basically look for "words" not the code...and edit the msg into format u like....
