I've got a problem at the moment with a bespoke client/server application trying to close down a session. When the client is closing down a session it's setting the FIN, ACK and PSH bits all in the same packet. Is this valid TCP or should the stack not be doing that?

Not sure if that's the problem it just struck me as a bit odd and I don't know enough about TCP to say if it's normal or not.

Regards
Andrew

How do you know this? Wireshark? Can you post the text line of the packet?
