Hi Clive,
If you type &amp;#9829; instead of &#9829; in the reply area here at tek-tips then you avoid that the characters will be shown. Then the real code you ment to tell will be shown. but don't do a "preview post", because that will erase the extra text you typed and then the characters will be shown again after a submit.
