i have a valcom v-9924b commom audible ringing unit hooked up to a CISC with 6.1 software. customer need's co ring over paging. i can run the paging through the unit OK, but not the ringing. I have the v/s s/v pair off the DN block and have tried all the ways to hooking it up to the valcom unit, but still not working. i have even tried an other unit, still no good. i have set the aux ring in the line program to "y". i know i'm missing one little thing but i have about 5 hr hooking and unhooking jumper's.

did you connect the Aux ringer cable to the ringer unit?
pls refer the install guide for the wiring guide

yes, the aux ringer would be the valcom unit. the cics provides a control contact to operate the unit. the valcom
has AUX 1 N.O. and AUX 1 N.C. and the AUX 1 COMMON. i have tried all , and still not working

Hi KmK1492,

I just did a little search of Valcom and I do not see a V9924B only a V9924C, I noticed it is activated by 90 VAC ringing or 18VAC buzzer voltage. If you want to use contact from Norstar you have to provide power to the valcom input. If you want to use dry contact you would need to use the V9927A.
