Hey all. This forum has been a lifesaver for me more than once, so my appreciation for you all is deep.

I am working on a contract for a hospital with a "sort-of" maintained architecture, and I am trying to update some of the more ignored corners in programming. There are several VAL boards in the system, but only 2 of them were added as VALs. The rest were just slid into place and used as turbo announcement boards. I am going to add them as ip interfaces, but just want to know from someone who has done this, will this affect existing announcements on the board? They are all almost full, and my goal is to backup and spread the wealth to several gateways which I have just enabled the V9 on. However, I don't want to kill the announcements while enabling the boards as actual VALs. Barring that, is there an efficient way to copy the announcements before doing the work? WinSCP / filex can't be used because there's no IP address. ASA fails for the same reason. CM is 8.1.

Thanks in advance.
