VAL misbehaving

hi ,
i am facing a problem with my VAl..when ever I try recording an announcement , after punching 1 ..i get a continous tone instead of a beep ..
I am on CM 3.1 and announcement brd TN2501AP is HW-01 with FW-08.

I have many recorded announcements which playback perfectly..

one more thing is I am also unable to take a backup of this VAL.

I have one more VAL with HW-02 and FW-08..This is perfectly OK..

This is a good starting point. It look like that board
HW-01 with FW-08 is several FW loads behind. The above link shows the latest (17) and the fixes with CM3.1 and higher.

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.
