Val Board - FTP refuse connection!!

Hi all!! I installed a Val Board at S8400/CM5.1!!

I created ip-interface, node-names, data-module, access code to recording and enable-filexfer!! No alarms, test board ok, status link ok and LED's are green ;-) hahaha

But when I try to access the IP of VAL my connection is refused!! I try in windows console (CMD) and browser IExplorer and Firefox!!

The ftp server no ask for user!!

Anybody have an idea? This is my first install, I can have forgoted any detail. I follow a guide to Definity.

enter the following commands


disable filexfer board xxxxxx

enable filexfer
then specify the board, login, and password.

then try the ftp again.

I did it now!! But problem "ftp 192.168.x.x ... connection refused" continue at Windows CMD!!

Please have other idea? I need to solve this up to friday!! I've a problem to think during christmas hahaha!! I want the solution of gift from Santa Claus hahaha

Launch Maintenance Web interface
Cick on Server Access
enable FTP

that should do it!

How I do a test with this, using CLAN?

Try to telnet 192.168.x.x 21 if this works port 21 of telnet is open. Again check the firewall and the server access from the Web Maintenance.

This are solved!! The problem was with Vlan configuration. Now are all ok!!
