Dear All,

What is maximum capacity of VAL Board, How many greetings can be recorderded & the time limit of val board

Thanks to all

Check the customer options see if you have the full 1 hour of capacity on the VAL board. Also check the internal disk on the VAL baord. Command 'list directory board <carrier/slot> /annc' this will tell you if there are any files on the board that aren't on the 'change announcements' form as the VAL board has it's own on board storage device.

256 announcements (files) max. 10 minutes or 1 hour depending on the Customer Options screen.

CM 4.0 will increase the number of announcements you can store on a VAL board, but not the 1 hour limit.

You can still only have 10 VAL boards in the system unless you upgrade to an S8720XL configuration, then you can have 128 VAL boards, if they are installed in G650, G600, CMC1, MCC1, SCC1.

Do a search on System Capacities Table at support.avaya.com for all of this information.
