VAIO problems--please help!

I have just received a hand me down VAIO desktop, running XP with Media Center. I was hoping to hook up my videogame to the component ports in the back to play. When I open Media Center, I can see the preview of the screen, but I did not inherit an IR sensor, and Media Center will not let me finish configuring my input without one. My friend gave me the remote, just not the sensor. Is there anything I can do? Please Help!

No problem...not when there's eBay...

This one may not be compatible, it was the first item in my search. Don't expect to pick up a receiver without a bundled remote, you won't know if it works with yours.
