After updating I can't print a sales report. The error is bad calculation of the sitemnumber. I have updated dictionary from the 8.0 and see many errors concerning unidentified places. All of the modified reports are failing.
Anyone else have this? When intalling features I selected only Extender and build smart lists
I'm using sql server with wind 3003 standard edition.

Found it. The guy that wrote the customized reports Removed the the customization on the reports and added back his special fields to the basic 9.0 report templates and all works well (I can now print the modified reports.

Another issue I've had with the update is on the first login for the client they are prompted for a password change and I can't find a table for how long until next expire. Any one else had this issue? Or found the table?

if you are on sql2005 the security question is SQL 2005 security --- in sql mgmt studio (fka enterprise manager) go to Security->Logins and right click on any one of your GP users - I will bet that the pwd policies on that first page are checked --- you may also notice that now CAPS in A password MAKE more SENSE... GP 9 now communicates correctly about such things.

This help?

The Security model for Userid and Passwords changed with Version 9. Each user will be prompted to record a new password on first access into Version 9.0. There is no way to avoid it.
Dexterity 9 now encrypts the password differently than version 8.0. Therefore GP9 will force the user to reenter the password they want, so it can be encrypted in the new way.
Hence why each user will being prompted.

If you are using SQL 2005 AND you are using the SQL 2005 native ODBC driver on the client machine, AND you have configured password policy in SQL 2005, then you will have password expiry.
If any of the above conditions is not satisifed, the password used to access Great Plains will not be needed to change again by the user.

This detail is buried in the upgrade notes.
