v7 to v2k?

If we as developers have SQL Server 7 and our ISP has 2k, are we able to upload a version 7 database onto a v2k system and will it work fine?

Yes. You can attach or restore a SQL 7 database in SQL 2K. However, you cannot attach or restore a SQL 2K database in SQL 7. Terry L. Broadbent

In case anyone else was interested, the easiest solution was to backup the SQL 7 d/b and then get the ISP to restore/create a new d/b under SQL 2k from the backup - worked like a charm!
