V3 phone manager

Hi does anyone know if version 3 phone manager will work on a client pc connecting to a 412 running v2.0(18)

I have PM V3.0(12) running on an IPO with V1.2 firmware (in-house test system)

aththouh it does seem to work it would not be supported by Avaya & any 3.0 specific functions will fail
