V3 Disappointments

The new handsets look the part(54xx/56xx)but do not have half as many features as a DT handset.


Does anyone have a recommended button layout?

I can't get a button to set the call forward busy number unless the number is always the same.
CFwd works great but a BNA the same would be good.

Call park is much better on a DT handset and Call Ride will always require a custom shortcode so you can specify the park slot.

Park & ride is great on the DT if carfully programmed

Park, alocates a park bay number, Dial park bay to retieve call just increase the Dialed digit count & add the following short code

SC 2XXX
Number .
Feature Ride call

(assuming extns int he range 200-299)

opps mis read, Correct park is much better implemented on DT's

I think the current state of afairs on DT suppoort is very fluid (it was only dropped towards the end of field trial mainly to save time on testing.)

The current feed back Avaya are recieving is likely to make them reconsider. Watch the bulletins closly over the next few weeks
