v.XP creating a directory setup form

I currently have a database that will check excel files in a given location. I want to create a form that will point the database to that location. I have a dir function that will pull from a location table once i have this form set up. But this type of function I am really not familiar with. basically a form that has a text box, browse button, and save location button. The text box saves to the location table. The browse button browses similar to a file...open feature. Then the save location does the rest. Please advise or help point me in the right direction. Thank you, been trying to do this all week with no resolution in sight.
