I am the telecommunications administrator for a large group of non-profit locations. We have an NEC UX5000 with the blade already installed that enables the voicemail to email functionality. It worked fine until yesterday, and now the voicemails are no longer forwarding. I tried a manual reset of the phone system already. The SMTP & POP Server Settings have not changed.
We would like to try changing the actual email address in Module 47-18 that is facilitating the forwarding process, however the UX5000 is prompting us with a message that says: [Enter Any Characters]. It will not allow me to Apply or Save Changes in this module.
Has anyone encountered this sequence of events before? Please let me know.
