uws4 edge 512mb cf cards

I am trying to replace wintech 128mb cf cards with 512mb edge cf cards so i can load res 5.2 and although cf cards work in card reader they stop on blue micros screen w/no beeps.............II formatted cards everyway possible and no luck............please help
