The only way I know to Edit or Add (import) a UWL in GW is in the following way:
a. Open a new document
b. Type any text in the message body
c. Go to Tools/Spell Check/Customize/User Word lists
From the User Word Lists screen you could add a UWL from another application and then modify the list within this screen. I have not tried it myself, but it might do what your looking to do. I would be interested in knowing if this will work on other UWL's besides the ones that are native to GW. I would think that a UWL is a UWL is a UWL no matter what created it with the .uwl extension.
