I use CYGWIN everyday, so does most of our Unix developers, they seem to be pretty happy with it for initial development. IBM Certified Specialist - MQSeries
Hi
Thanks for this respond (UWIN). The reason I was looking for this is that I have DB2 installed in my Win 2000 Machine (new project).
I also support DB2 on AIX which I have lots of scripts in that machine. Now I was trying to use those scripts in my new project (win2000).
So, when I downloaded the uwin, I can see that you can run the win2000 as UNIX OS. The but the problem is when you try to run DB2 you have to run DB2cmd.exe that is in c:/program Files/sqllib/bin directory. So I create .profile like AIX and I put that path in it.
So When I launch uwin it opens the another window which is db2cmd. So, how can I start launch db2 without actually leaving uwin... or any other advice you can give me on that regard.
