I would like to know the various tools people would like to have in a supply chain/logistics system. You are starting from scratch so you have a blank canvas. One of the tools I would like to see is complete supply chain visibility into the suppliers supply chain. At all times I would know how long it will be until my product reaches me. I would also like to have a supplier scorecard that a vendor could check via a web browser at anytime to see how we rate them. If the vendor does not agree with the report card, they could drill down and find where their shortcomings are. Please list any type of tools that would make your supply chain process better.
