UTL_FILE.PUT linefeed caracter

Does anybody has an idea of how to put a linefeed caracter (ascii #10) into a file with the UTL_FILE package? My problem is that when it writes that caracter, it skips a line but I only want the ascii caracter to show up like an unshowable caracter (the litte square).

But that depends on your file visor, not the package...
Or I haven't understood you correctly :-?

Have you tried just writing chr(10) to the file? I use chr(12) for formfeeds all the time...
