Greetings dear colleagues.

Could someone tell me why there is no Find in Files... feature in WinRunner..?
Or, I just didn't look for it good enough..?

It would be possible to write a function that could search for specific text within a file - been ages since I did it though - I can't remember the commands!

I'm assuming that you are looking to find text within a file somewhere.

Try Forum1393 for posting queries like this one - It's newer, (mine), and this forum is virtually dead..

By using winrunner's TSL, we can get this to be done. Otherwise you can have a look on WinAPI.
