Hello,

I've been searching for this without much success, so hopefully someone on this forum can help.
We have a number of fileservers, each about 1Tb in size. Recently, we've been losing large chunks of available space in a very short time, eg yesterday there was 30Gb free on the primary fileserver and this morning there is only 17Gb. What I need is some sort of utility/procedure that will help me track down which user/users are responsible....does anyone have any ideas please?

Many thanks in advance
Graeme

You could also try
It show where the space is gone... Maybe you can track down big files. You could also try searches for "rather big" files with modification time or creation time less than a day...
Once you know what the files are, you can track the owner or look for patterns
