I just got a USRobotics 3453 C Courier business Modem.
It is connected to my PC by the Serial Com Port.
I am using Putty as the terminal software. I configured Putty with the settings in the USRobotics installation file:
Standard COM
port settings are:
bits per second: 115,200
data bits: 8;
parity: none;
stop bits:1;
flow control: hardware
The hardware setting is weird In putty there is :
XON/XOFF
RTS/CTS
AND
DSR/DTR
I tried all three of them.
Putty opens up and then I see a cursor, but you cannot type anything.
It is just a static cursor.
But I know the modem sees data, because when I open putty and load the session; the lights on the front of the modem change.
I cannot even begin to configure the modem until I can get to where I can type. Please help me if you can.
Thanks.
