Hi ,
Shall I know the differnece between the commands present in the /usr/(s)bin directory and /usr/ucb directory. I have commands like ps and shutdown present in both the directories.

Thanks,

Suresh

The files found in /usr/ucb are all programs that were created at the University of California Berkely (ucb), therefore they are BSD versions versus Sys V versions of the programs. d3funct

The software required `Windows 95 or better', so I installed Linux.

Thanks d3funct for your immediate reply
