I've seen the 568603 adapter mentioned here to be 9VDC. Someone tells me the 568602 us supposed to be 26-27VDC. So far the highest USR adapter voltage I've seen on the net is 20VDC.

If not an actual adapter itself I'd like "official" word on the voltage and amperage for this modem (perhaps known as USR5686B?). Their website doesn't seem to offer such info.

TIA

I've not seen any at more than 12v 1A.
Since the maximum needed internally by the modem will be the 232 rail voltages I would suspect that the 12 volt one will give plenty of margin for operation. No idea about the current flow but the 56K ones had the higher rated supplies.
Keep us informed if you find out differently.

Well, I've seen scads of USR AC adapters listed around the internet as 20V, as well as a lot of 12V. Fewer are lower.
