/usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so is garbled

Line 205 is
# LoadModule foo_module libexec/mod_foo.so
LoadModule php4_module /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so

What did I do wrong?

/usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so is garbled

Was php compiled as an apache DSO ? If so, re-compile and install it again.. it is garbled. If not, re-compile it as a DSO.

Why is it garbled? I even tried make clean and configure with only apxs. Please give me some general tips.
