USR External

Here is My long story Short version, I've had two External usr Modems go Bad, when Dialing out they say No dialtone in programs like Hyperterminal, and the LED's on the external do light up and respond like they should when giving it various ATI commands, any Tip's to solve whats zapping them ?

Well In my Detective work I found that the Loop current when off hook was a bit on the high side (33.5ma) put a current limiter on the Line will wait and see if it stays fixed, or if something else is awary,
