USR 56K Msg. Modem doesn't detect hang-up in Spain

Hi All,

Does any know how to fix my 56k Messsage Modem (bought here in Spain) so that it will drop the line as soon as the other caller hangs-up? At the moment it keeps the line up until about 60s have passed when it finally drops the line.

In spain when the other line hangs-up a re-ocurring tone is heard rather than the constant tone I'm used to in England. Our other Creative Labs modem drops the line perfectly as soon as the other user clears.

I got the same problem in Hong Kong I noticed this when I left my modem on under independent mode. Sometime my line at home is still busy although the caller already hangup.

Just want to know it this can be fixed by configuration.
