This forum has been awfully quiet lately. Is anyone using Using ZenWorks 3 with W2K? I'd love to chat one on one with anyone out there that could share some experience.

We are using Netware 5, ZenWorks 3 desktop, just upgraded NW client to 4.8 with zfd3sp1.

We've had our share of issues with getting W2K up and running. I have a specific question. Latest issue, using Dyamic Local Users, having problem - policy profiles not working unless client window login shows same context as login.

In other words, using the full distinctive name in "Username:" if the "Context:" doesn't match the one in username, the profiles are NOT being seen. Been to Novell's website, no luck with any of the TID's. Any suggestions?

Generally speaking, if anyone implementing ZenWorks 3 with W2K on a Novell 5.X Network cares to share notes, I'd love to chat, e-mail, what ever.

I have a couple of W2k machines on my 5.1 network and am using Zfd3. It is a small network so all my users are in the same context.

I am unclear as to what your situation is. What's the relationship between the context issue and dynamic local users? Do you not have the same problem if the local user is created manually?

Make sure you have Novell client v4.8 + SP3. We had the same issue. The client was unable to parse the ID from the rest of the context, and SP3 fixed it.
