Ok, so i ordered a new computer for work and aimed at saving money, where i noticed that i cant really connect to my server without xp pro, after finally searching websites for ways to get onto the network without adding a new OS or reformatting my brand new machine, I can finally connect to my Server.

When i click on the sbt icon to run it it prompts me and says
"Cannot locate the Microsoft Visual FoxPro support library"

Now i have other machines running my operations, and i figured that once connected through my server like my other machines would just run, and to my surprise it didn't

well let me know what u guys thinks

and remember im running XP home, (save money, what the hell i was thinking)

Is this over a VPN or a wireless network? How are you trying to connect? Are your drives all mapped the same?

Do you have the orginal SBT disks and installation passwords?

SBT/ACCPAC/PRO ERP now load files into the Windows directory on installation. In some edditions there is a work station install on others the original disk contains a workstation install that handles this.

You should always BACKUP before doing this as a mistake can result in data loss. Better yet pay a professional to do it.

You must install SBT using the workstation install for each workstation.
There is usually a folder called workstation installation within the PRO50 root folder.
