Using XML in Flash to populate a 3 column table

Hi!
I am new to flash. I am trying to create a schedule page that consists of these columns (date, place, event). I would like the data to load externally so whenever I need to update the schedule - I don't have to modify the .fla - I could just modify the .xml or .txt.

Does anyone know how I would go about doing this?

you could do this with the datagrid component if you have mx2004 pro or flash 8 pro.
