I am trying to use the Mail Merge feature in Word based on a parameter query. I am trying to merge data to a document based on a number that I want the user to insert in the dialog box,but Word just hangs up and when I close it there is another Enter Parameter Dialog Box that is empty. This occurs after you run the query and enter the number. This method works fine if I set the criteria in design mode, I have no trouble merging info in a simple select query however Word seems to be running the query again in the merge porocess and hangs up because it is waiting for another number entry. How can I handle a merge with a parameter query?
