DNS: Add the line
[tt]server <IP.OF.DNS.SERVER>[/tt]
for each DNS server to /etc/resov.conf and issue [tt][blue]host <hostname.domainame>[/blue][/tt] to verify you're resolving. It wouldn't hurt to add
[tt]search <domainname>[/tt]
and
[tt]domain <domainname>[/tt]
as well. You'll be able to resolve by hostname only.

WINS: Add
[tt]wins server = <IP.OF.WINS.SERVER>[/tt]
to /etc/samba/smb.conf in the Global section. Restart/reload samba to activate the changes. Issue [tt][blue]nmblookup -a <hostname>[/blue][/tt] to verify.

Have Fun! [afro2]
