Hi, I do a lot of work in PS Illustrator and indesign, Ive heard that many people use a graphics tablet instead of a mouse, anyone here have any experience of this. I am looking to start with the wacom MTE450 its going for £50 with programmable function keys! I tried a basic old wacom in illustrator and found it much harder to select anchors, the pen just wouldn't pick them up sometime but hopefully it was a setup issue.

I used the Intuos with the classic pen for my work computer. Once I got used to the feel of it, I absolutely loved it. I hated to go home to a mouse! I had no problems with the tablet whatsoever. I found it much easier to draw and paint in both Illy and PS. My new computer will definately have the newer Wacom tablet.
