What tools, test equipment, gadgets do you use? What's good, what's not? What's the hot ticket for VOIP?

that is a terribly broad and open ended question. Not to mention opinion for every A-hole type thing, as it should be. Depends on what you have currently, if anything. I would suggest using the site search on here (between forum and FAQs, not the google one) and search on IP to see various threads of sets, pbx type to IP configuration/card/E systems etc scenerios.

Your existing network may have some of the tools that are used like QoS monitoring, SMNP traps etc.
Some free downloadable tools out there as well

The newest bleeding edge stuff is Nortel SCS which is open source such as Linux and runs SIP communications. You can check it out on Nortel's site. We are considering it for our Corporate IP. Not sure how well it does with ACD.
